Comfort meets appearance
Choose tint for the way you use your vehicle.
The right film is more than a dark window. Film type, existing glass, placement and legal limits shape the result. We start with the problem you want to solve.
Feel better in the cabin
Ask about film designed to reject solar energy and infrared heat. Performance varies by film, shade and vehicle glass.
Make sunny drives easier
Choose a measured level of light transmission that improves comfort while preserving visibility and meeting Florida requirements.
Finish the look
Coordinate front and rear glass for a balanced appearance, with an option to remove and replace old film where appropriate.

What matters most behind the wheel?
Select your main priority. This is a conversation starter; we will confirm film availability, shade, legal fit and pricing for your vehicle.
A useful starting point
Ask about ceramic film
For a heat-oriented goal, compare the available ceramic films and their published performance data at a legal shade for your vehicle.
Your options
Carbon or ceramic? Start with your goal.
Different product lines perform differently. We explain the current films, written warranty and a vehicle-specific price before you decide.
Everyday appearance
Carbon film
A good conversation to start when a rich, consistent appearance and everyday comfort are the priority.
- Discuss side and rear window coverage
- Review shade and visibility on your vehicle
- Ask for product-specific performance and warranty details
Heat-oriented comfort
Ceramic film
Worth comparing when cabin heat and glare are high on your list. Published performance figures depend on the exact product and glass.
- Compare available ceramic film specifications
- Choose a compliant shade for each window
- Confirm the film-line warranty in writing
We will identify the actual film brand and line in your quote. No percentage or warranty claim on this page applies to an unspecified product.
What tint changes
The experience is personal. The shade is measured.
How dark a film looks is not the same as its heat performance. Visible light transmission (VLT) is measured through the film and the vehicle’s glass together. A lighter-looking film may still have meaningful heat performance, depending on the product.
We help you balance the view out, the appearance outside and the legal result.

Coverage and scope
From the front pair to a full-vehicle plan.
Tell us which windows are involved and whether existing film needs removal. We will confirm the practical scope and quote after reviewing the vehicle.
Front side windows
Match the front windows thoughtfully with existing rear glass while respecting Florida’s measured light-transmission requirements.
Full cabin coverage
Review side and rear windows together for a consistent look and a more complete comfort plan.
Removal and replacement
Old tint, adhesive and defroster lines can affect scope. We inspect what is installed before quoting removal or replacement.
Florida shade guidance
We check the result on your glass.
Florida regulates the light transmitted through the film and existing vehicle glass together. Vehicle class and window position matter; a film’s package label alone is not the final installed measurement.
We’ll discuss front, rear and windshield requests against the current rules before installation. A windshield sun strip is subject to separate limits.
Source: Florida Statutes §316.2952, §316.2953, and §316.2954. Confirm the applicable requirements for your specific vehicle.
Common light-transmission minimums
| Window | Installed VLT |
|---|---|
| Front side glass | At least 28% |
| Rear glass on passenger cars | At least 15% |
| Rear glass on qualifying multipurpose vehicles | At least 6% |
Reflectance limits and other conditions also apply. The windshield rule is separate. Values refer to film as tested on the specific vehicle glass, not to film alone.

Questions before you book
Good answers make the choice easier.
Is ceramic tint always darker than carbon?
No. Darkness is described by visible light transmission, while heat performance depends on the film’s construction and specifications. We compare actual products at an appropriate shade.
Can I tint my windshield?
Florida’s windshield rules are separate from the side-window rules. Tell us what you want to accomplish and we will discuss any lawful top-strip option and vehicle-specific visibility limits before quoting.
Will my existing factory glass affect the choice?
Yes. The legal light-transmission result is measured through the glass and film together. Factory-tinted rear glass also changes how a new film looks.
Can old film be removed?
Ask us to inspect it first. Existing film, adhesive and rear defroster lines can change the time and scope needed for safe removal.
What is the warranty?
Coverage depends on the film line and installer workmanship. We provide the applicable written terms with the work order rather than promising an unspecified lifetime warranty.
